Myself Gaurav, I am a science post-graduate and now working in an Indian Telecom Co. In 1990 when I was of 14th, I started reading Indian philosophy and start yoga, with my academics. From then till today I have followed some religious and philosophical societies and followed their facts according to my mental and physical caliber because not everything can be fit for everyone. Hence I share everything I've learned and understood since then to live a joyful and meaning full life. Maybe it is useful for anyone.

So let us start with awareness of some very basic habits from which our personality has been formed so far.

Habits: 

As we know that "A routine of conduct that is routinely practiced and frequently happens unconsciously is referred to as a habit". These habits are reflected in our lifestyle, and we have to be aware of our habits so that we can realize what we need to do to improve our lifestyle. These habits are very basic and profound habits that are connected with our subconscious like breathing, eating, talking, walking & sleeping and we usually never think about them. Therefore you have to be just aware of your ‘fantastic five’ habits, which sets your daily routine. This awareness will also help to find out what are you doing without your permission and done habitually.

1. Breathing Awareness:- 


'Breathing' is our very deepest habit, which is related to our birth. You will feel that at different- different moods our breathing rhythm becomes different. Then, if we breathe with some techniques, we will discover miraculous/holistic changes in our personalities.

Step1: Close Left Nostril, Inhale Right nostril, and exhale left nostril, then Inhale left exhale right.



Do at least 3 – 7 steps or more or less according to your body's stamina. You can do this exercise two to three times on your bed, chair in the workplace, or in the garden. After doing this you feel a deep inner calm.

  Step2:  Try to take deep breath in your routine life whenever you breathe throughout the                  day, take a deep breath. It will keep the mind cool, and control your anxiety, anger,                and minor ailments.

2. Eating Awareness:

Yes, food is one of the basic needs of a living being till death, it is difficult to imagine life without it. So, we should also be aware of our food when we eat and drink unhealthy things, like highly processed foods and drinks with added sugar, we might be more likely to gain weight, become obese, or get other long-term illnesses. The same nutritious foods also keep you healthy, joyful, and physically and intellectually strong. They also prevent you from many different ailments. Therefore, choose healthy, tasty, and easily digestible food for yourself while eating, also trying not to have a full stomachWith this approach, you will notice a tremendous change in your health as you progressively transform your eating habits. These diets will also allow you to feel energized, lively, and focused.

Talking more and speaking less are both habits that are harmful to us. When we speak too much, we say things that we shouldn't have said, and when we speak less, we can't really make our points clear to anybody. Both conditions are harmful to your personality. That's why we should speak very thoughtfully while speaking and choose such words which are not harmful to anyone so we can present our ideas effectively to others. 
When you are aware of your speaking habit, you will experience immense peace in your life. Keeping quiet and speaking only when needed, makes us the owner of a cool and calm personality. Hence we should try to speak only when it is absolutely necessary.

4. Walking:

In modern life, our work has been designed in such a way that we are able to perform less physical effort and instead do more mental work. As a result of this, we are affected both bodily and mentally. Many lifestyle diseases, like indigestion, weight gain, obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, strokes, etc., are caused by a lack of physical activity. So physical exercise is very important to avoid such types of ailments and walking is the exercise which is absolutely free and available for all. Hence walking is the best exercise and keeps us fit, maintains our metabolism, burns calories, and maintains healthy body weight. Walking reduces the risk of cardiac problems and the overall risk of type-2 diabetes. It is also found that daily brisk walking improves our decision-making power and quality & length of sleep. So when there are so many benefits of walking then why don't we include walking in our daily routine? 

5. Sleeping:

Sleeping is a divine medicine for a human being while in today's rush, it is impossible to have breakfast, lunch, supper, or sleep on time, which is bad for our health. Stress, high blood pressure, anxiety, and depression can all be caused by not getting enough sleep, sleeping at the wrong time, or not getting enough sleep. A person who cannot sleep well cannot live well, yet good sleep saves us from developing mental illnesses and fills our days with pleasure, energy, and happiness. Obviously, when we start to change the aforementioned four habits we’ll find that our sleeping quality will be better. 

The above habits are in progressive ordering and are interconnected, that is to say, to get a change in yourself, you have to start with your first move, which is ‘Breathing’. This will make consciousness of yourself. Only for the first move, obviously, you will require some effort and time, yet in the future all that will change naturally.
